MOSCOW, 5 June (BelTA) – The session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will take place in Minsk on 13 June, BelTA learnt from the PA press service.

Attending the meeting will be delegation of the Federal Assembly of Russia led by Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly, Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Naryshkin.

The agenda of the meeting includes the issues concerning the report of the Union State Council of Ministers on the budget performance for 2011, development and implementation of the Union State programs, the activity of the Parliamentary Assembly in 2012.

The participants of the meeting will also consider the PA action plan regarding the celebrations of the 70^th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 70^th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazis.

Apart from that, a number of organizational issues are to be addressed at the meeting.

The program of the meeting will also include a session of the PA Council and a number of meetings of profile commissions.

On 12 June PA MPs will take part in a roundtable “Eurasian Economic Perspective”.

Invited to partake in the meeting are representatives of the Union State Permanent Committee, ministries and departments of Belarus and Russia.
