MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – Representatives of the Ukrainian army will come to Belarus for an inspection, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The inspection will take place on 9-13 October in line with the Belarusian-Ukrainian intergovernmental agreement on additional trust and security measures. The group will visit a designated area and evaluate the 38th Independent Guards Airborne Brigade.
The purpose of the visit is to check on military activities, which are subject to preliminary notifications in line with the agreement. The authenticity of Belarus’ information about personnel numbers, main weapon systems, and military hardware in the specific army unit will be examined.
