The main purpose of the visit and development of bilateral cooperation in general were discussed at Babaniyaz Italmazov’s meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkmenistan Oleg Tabanyukhov. The meeting was mainly focused on the construction of the Garlyk mining and processing factory in Turkmenistan, supplies of Belarusian vehicles to Turkmenistan and the construction of service centers in the country. The parties discussed Belarusian supplies via the Belarus-Turkmenistan Trading House and the participation of Belarusian educational establishments at the knowledge fair in Turkmenistan scheduled for spring 2014.

The sides also talked over the participation of Belarusian producers in an exhibition of Belarusian goods due in Turkmenistan this year, фтв the participation of Belarusian and Turkmen teams in sports tournaments held in Belarus and Turkmenistan.
