MINSK, 27 October (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow on the national holiday — Independence Day, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

The congratulation reads: “In the years of sovereignty through reliance on the industriousness of the Turkmenistan people the country has secured impressive results in its social and economic development. Accomplishments of the Turkmen state have been duly noted by the international community while your flagship initiatives aimed at bolstering international security are widely acclaimed and invariably endorsed by the Republic of Belarus.”

Alexander Lukashenko noted: “I am convinced that our good relations and the existing potential for continuing the bilateral dialogue will further enhance the mutually beneficial partnership.”
