MINSK, 25 August (BelTA) – A delegation of the Turkmenistan parliament will be in Minsk on 25-30 August for the sake of studying the work experience of the Belarus parliament, representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in Turkmenistan told BelTA.

The visit has been organized with assistance of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Ashgabat. The program of the visit features seminars, lectures, presentations of the operation of both chambers of the Belarusian parliament and parliamentary committees. Members of the delegation are expected to meet with representatives of the Belarus parliament’s committees for legislation, finance and budget, human rights, national relations, and mass media. Plans have been made to hold negotiations with representatives of the Justice Ministry, the Foreign Ministry, and the National Center for Legislation and Legal Research under the President of Belarus.

The previous visit of the Turkmenistan parliament delegation to Belarus took place on 26-27 April 2010. Work is in progress to prepare an official visit of the Belarus parliament delegation to Turkmenistan.
