MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – A delegation of the Republic of Turkey led by Governor of Edirne Province Dursun Ali Sahi is visiting Grodno Oblast on 3-8 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

A protocol on trade, economic, scientific, technical, humanitarian, and cultural cooperation between the Edirne Province administration and the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee is expected to be signed during the visit.

The delegation will visit the Grodno Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) to establish direct contacts between business associations of the Belarusian region and Edirne Province of Turkey. It is also expected to sign a cooperation agreement at the level of the offices of the chambers of commerce of the two regions.

Besides, the Turkish delegation will partake in the international investment forum “Grodno Oblast at the junction of the borders”, attend the 16th national universal fair “Euroregion Neman 2014”, and visit the Grodnoinvest free economic zone and large enterprises of Grodno Oblast.
