MOSCOW, 18 May (BelTA) – Moscow played host to the consultations at the level of the heads of the structural subdivisions of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Russia on 17-18 May. Cooperation in the UN and international technical assistance projects were in the spotlight of the ministerial consultations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.
“The parties reviewed a wide range of issues of cooperation in the humanitarian area, in the field of human rights. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in joint implementation of international technical assistance projects taking into account the national priorities of the two countries,” the the press service noted.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Larisa Belskaya, the head of the multilateral diplomacy department at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
