Serbian President arrives in Belarus for official visit

MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) – President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic has arrived in Belarus for a two-day official visit. The airplane of the Serbian President has landed at the International Airport Minsk, BelTA has learnt.

The Serbian leader was welcomed by Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei at the airport.

The press service of the Belarusian head of state informed that Tomislav Nikolic is set to have extended and one-on-one meetings with Alexander Lukashenko on 12 March. The sides will discuss the entire spectrum of Belarus-Serbia relations, including cooperation in trade, economy, science, technology and humanitarian field, as well as collaboration on the international arena. The parties are expected to sign a set of bilateral documents.

On the second day of the visit, 13 March, the Serbian delegation is to meet with Belarusian businessmen and visit several sites and companies in Minsk.
