MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Russian Federation and concurrently to the Republic of Belarus Abdulrahman bin Ibraheem Al-Rassi on 21 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the Ambassador presented copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed ways to enhance the cooperation between Belarus and Saudi Arabia. Special attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements signed during the first session of the Belarus-Saudi Arabia intergovernmental committee on cooperation that took place in Riyadh in May 2015.
