MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) - Belarus and Latvia will hold ministerial consultations in Riga on 20 May, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
According to the established practice, the consultations will be held at the level of Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries. The Belarusian delegation will be headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna. The Latvian delegation will be led by State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrejs Pildegovics.
The parties are set to discuss the prospects for expanding political, economic, trade and transit cooperation between the two countries, implementing joint investment projects, cooperation in the context of the Eurasian Economic Union, and different aspects of the relations between the Republic of Belarus and the European Union.
