MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – Riga Technical University (RTU) will develop cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) and the Belarusian State University (BSU). The corresponding agreements were signed by RTU Rector Leonids Ribickis during his meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Latvia Maria Dolgopolova on 22 September, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“During the meeting Leonids Ribickis, on behalf of Riga Technical University, signed the agreement on academic cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the cooperation agreement with the Belarusian State University,” representatives of the ministry said.

The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in education and science, including the implementation of joint sci-tech projects and the participation in pan-European programs, the press service of the ministry noted.
