Prokopovich appointed Vice-Premier of Belarus

MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has relieved Piotr Prokopovich of his duties as Aide to the President of Belarus and appointed him Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

Piotr Prokopovich will be responsible for the major socioeconomic development targets of the Republic of Belarus, the national budget and the economic modernization.

The corresponding decree was signed by Alexander Lukashenko on 18 January.
