SOCHI, 7 October (BelTA-TASS) – Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich met with Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev in Sochi on 7 October to discuss the development of the bilateral relations, including within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), BelTA has learned.
Head of the Belarus President Administration Andrei Kobyakov and Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich also took part in the meeting.
“I am very glad to meet with you one more time. Such meetings are usually very packed,” said Dmitry Medvedev. “Let’s talk about the current agenda of the day, the state of the economies and investment plans”.
Mikhail Myasnikovich remarked he had asked the Russian Prime Minister to arrange the meeting and thanked Dmitry Medvedev for organizing it. “The dynamics of the development of our relations is positive. I am glad about it,” stated the Prime Minister of Belarus.
Mikhail Myasnikovich said that work is in progress in Belarus to prepare the state budget bill. “In this regard we have to take into account our work in the new conditions determined by the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty,” said Mikhail Myasnikovich.
