MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Uzbekistan President Islam Karimov and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived in Belarus on 9 October to attend the CIS Heads of State Council meeting, BelTA has learned.

As was informed, Minsk will host the CIS summit on 10 October. The agenda of the summit will include 17 issues regarding political, humanitarian, and security cooperation.

The participants of the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community will review the EurAsEC activities and progress and sign an agreement on cessation of its activity (from 1 January 2015).

The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council heads of state will discuss the issues related to the trade in goods and services, capital and workforce movement, financial, organizational and technical aspects related to the start of the operation of the Eurasian Economic Union on 1 January 2015.
