MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) - Poland is ready to continue developing good neighborly relations with Belarus, especially ties between regions, Renata Szczech, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Interior and Administration of Poland, said at the session of the Belarusian-Polish intergovernmental commission on coordinating transboundary cooperation in Minsk on 7 December, BelTA has learned.

Renata Szczech gave a strong approval of the cooperation between the Belarusian-Polish border services. In her view, such contacts contribute to the overall cooperation between the states.

Renata Szczech welcomed Belarus’ steps to facilitate the visa requirements, which is also very important for the Polish side. Developing the overall legal framework of the Belarusian-Polish cooperation will help intensify bilateral contacts in all areas.
