Organizing committee to prepare for 2019 European Games set up in Belarus

MINSK, 9 January (BelTA) – The national organizing committee to prepare for the 2019 European Games was established in Belarus. A corresponding decree was signed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 9 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The national organizing committee is led by the Belarusian Prime Minister. The organizing committee includes heads of public bodies and organizations which will be involved in the preparations for this large-scale sports event.

The national organizing committee will coordinate the activities of all parties concerning the preparations for the 2019 European Games and approve a corresponding action plan within three months.a
