MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – On 25 May the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus ratified the protocol to the Belarusian-Chinese intergovernmental agreement on mutual visa-free travels of tourist groups of 11 January 1993, BelTA has learned.
In particular, the protocol clarifies some outdated provisions of the document. A tourist group has to contain at least five people. Tourist groups are supposed to be organized by officially specified travel agencies.
Such tourist groups can enter Belarus and China without visas via international border checkpoints. The protocol is expected to allow the two countries to export more tourism services.
