MINSK, 20 July (BelTA) - Belarus strongly condemns the inhuman act of terrorism perpetrated in the Iraqi town of Khan Bani Saad on 17 July during the Eid al-Fitr celebration which is important for all Muslims, reads the statement issued by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, BelTA has learned.

"The Republic of Belarus has consistently advocated the active, coordinated and uncompromising action by the international community to eradicate international terrorism which has once again claimed dozens of innocent civilians, including children," the statement said.

Belarus expresses sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to all injured.
