GOMEL, 8 December (BelTA) – The Union State budget should be used more effectively, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev told the media after the Union State Council of Ministers meeting on 8 December, BelTA has learned.
The Union State budget expenses will make up nearly RUB5 billion in 2018. According to Dmitry Medvedev, the money will be injected into the fundamental research, R&D, industry, energy and construction sectors.
“We also need to take a better look at the surplus we have today. The unused budget funds need to be spent more efficiently, including on achieving the goals of top priority for the citizens of the Union State member states,” Dmitry Medvedev said. These resources could be invested in medical technology projects.
