MINSK, 16 February (BelTA) – Media coverage of integration processes in the post-Soviet space was discussed at the sixth international sci-tech conference International Journalism 2017: Integration of Integrations Idea and the Media. The conference was held in the Institute of Journalism at the Belarusian State University, BelTA learned from the Information Ministry.
The focus of the conference was on the media coverage of integration processes in the post-Soviet space in the Eurasian Economic Union, the Union State of Belarus and Russia, and also the specifics of the media coverage of the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation and the implementation of the Silk Road Economic Belt project.
Attending the event, apart from Belarusian scientists and experts, were university scientists of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova, France, Iraq, and other countries.
The conference also highlighted the experience and innovations of foreign journalism, international journalism in the context of the global and regional information exchange, tendencies in the international segment of modern journalism.
