MINSK, 17 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei and Mr Romano Prodi, the former President of the European Commission, former Prime Minister of Italy, President of the Foundation for Worldwide Cooperation, discussed the integration processes in Eurasia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

Mr Romano Prodi is in Belarus on a visit on the invitation of the Belarusian State University and the Belarusian State Economic University.

The parties discussed a number of issues on the international and regional agenda, the cooperation between Belarus and the European Union. Considerable attention was paid to the integration processes in the Eurasian region.
