MINSK, 25 April (BelTA) – Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei met with special representative of the prime minister of New Zealand Jim Bolger in Minsk on 25 April, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

“The parties discussed Belarus’ support of New Zealand’s candidature as a non-permanent member to the UN Security Council for a term of 2015-2016,” the Foreign Ministry said.

The parties also talked over the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, scientific and humanitarian areas.
