MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) – Belarus would like to improve its relations with the United States, Belarus’ Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei said as he met with Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State Eric Rubin on 11 December, BelTA has learnt.
“Belarus understands the importance of good relations with the United States. We are keen on improving Belarus-U.S. relations,” the Belarusian Foreign Minister said.
Vladimir Makei noted that a broad range of matters will be discussed during the meeting on 11 December.
“We are ready for an open and sincere dialogue,” the Belarusian Foreign Minister underlined.
