MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) - Belarus welcomes the decision by Kyrgyzstan to restore the level of diplomatic representation in Minsk, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said when receiving the credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, BelTA has learned.
According to the Belarusian leader, this important step will contribute to more active development of bilateral relations. Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus and Kyrgyzstan have long-standing, friendly, brotherly and diverse ties.
The President stressed that with Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union the parties need to realize the full potential of interaction. "We have the experience," the Belarusian leader said.
