MINSK, 16 January (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa who will pay an official visit to Belarus on 17 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The talks will take place at the Palace of Independence in the narrow and extended formats. The heads of state will discuss the development of political, trade, economic contacts, promising avenues for the intensification of bilateral ties, first of all, in trade and investment, implementation of joint projects.

After the talks the sides are expected to sign a number of international documents.

The official visit of the president of Zimbabwe has a versatile business program, he will meet with Belarusian businessmen.
