Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that Belarus is interested in continuing the pragmatic dialogue with Ireland and maintaining constructive cooperation and joint work on international platforms. “We backed Ireland's candidature for election to the United Nations Security Council for 2021-2022. I am convinced that with Ireland having a seat on the UN Security Council, we will be able to effectively cope with modern challenges and threats,” the message reads.
