MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to King Felipe VI of Spain as the country celebrated the National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.
"I offer constructive dialogue and solidarity at a time of temporary difficulties caused by the pandemic. By developing trade and investment relations, ties between local governments, healthcare institutions of our states, we will tackle this problem quicker and will not lose valuable ties between people," the message reads.
The Belarusian head of state noted that he expects Minsk and Madrid to maintain partnership relations in various areas of mutual interest. The president also addressed the words of gratitude to King Felipe and numerous organizations of Spain for the hospitality as they host Belarusian children from the regions affected by the Chernobyl accident every year for health recuperation holidays.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished good health and successes in responsible state activities to King Felipe, and peaceful sky, cohesion and civil accord to the Spanish nation.
