MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent Name Day greetings to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, BelTA learned form the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Your awareness-raising and charity activities, energy and spiritual strength help promote the high authority of the Russian Orthodox Church, harmonize international and interreligious relations, preserve the historical and cultural legacy, strengthen the unity of Slavonic nations,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state expressed confidence that the tireless efforts of Patriarch Kirill will help promote the traditions and values of Orthodox Christianity, enhance civil peace and accord.
