MINSK, 27 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Moldova President Igor Dodon as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“For many years Belarus and Moldova have been bound by friendship and mutually beneficial partnership, common approaches to the formation of a fair world order, predictable and non-discriminatory trade and economic policy,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state expressed confidence that Igor Dodon's special attention to the development of Belarusian-Moldovan relations would continue to contribute to the enhancement of multi-pronged bilateral cooperation, implementation of joint projects in various areas for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
