MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Serbia President Aleksandar Vucic, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I highly appreciate your work on a responsible state post and support of Belarus-Serbia friendship. I am very grateful to you for preserving the atmosphere of trust and respect between our peoples,” the letter runs.
The head of state said that he recalls with pleasure his meetings with Aleksandar Vucic, during which the parties had an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues on the bilateral and international agenda.
“I am confident that with your help the projects will get further implementation in accordance with the agreements reached in Minsk and Belgrade last year,” the president stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed hope for the continuation of meaningful friendly contacts and invited the Serbian leader to visit Belarus at any time convenient for him.
