MINSK, 4 August (BelTA) – There are no problems in cooperation between Belarus and Tambov Oblast, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with Tambov Oblast Governor Oleg Betin on 4 August, BelTA has learnt.
Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that there are no issues in relations between Belarus and Tambov Oblast where the sides could not find consensus. At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko remarked: “The main thing is to avoid artificiality. Under the table payments are inadmissible. We should be honest with each other. If a Russian product has better quality and price, we will buy it.”
Oleg Betin, for his part, expressed eagerness to expand all-round cooperation with Belarus and praised the quality of Belarusian goods and services. In his words, it is necessary to find new mutually beneficial forms of short-term and long-term cooperation. For example, it is needed to bolster ties in such areas as agriculture, machine-building, construction.
