MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – Plans to seize power in Belarus through ‘color revolutions’ and street protests are doomed, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the inauguration ceremony on 6 November, BelTA informs.
“The recent election in the country has once again shown to various powers, including those outside our country, that plans to seize power in Belarus through ‘color revolutions’ and street protests are doomed. This will never happen,” said Alexander Lukashenko.
According to Alexander Lukashenko, in Belarus “there are still a few politicians who are eager to fire up an internal chaos.”
“Such radicals are rejected by the overwhelming majority of the society and also by the extremely small part of people who do not share certain official strategies of the authorities. Their ideology is rejected by their followers,” the President said.
