MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan because the people of Turkey supported proposed constitutional amendments at the referendum, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Having supported the constitutional reform, the people of Turkey supported the efforts of the current government to ensure economic growth, political stability in the world and in the state. I am convinced that the decision made at the referendum will promote the enhancement of the sovereignty and independence of Turkey,” the message of greetings reads.
Alexander Lukashenko hopes that by joint efforts Belarus and Turkey will continue strengthening their bilateral partnership in the best interests of their people.
