Lukashenko congratulates Belarus’ gymnasts on great performance at world championships

MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the national rhythmic gymnastics team on their successful performance at the 2021 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Japan, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.

“Dear friends, at the world championships in Japan your team achieved another important milestone in the history of Belarusian rhythmic gymnastics,” the message of congratulations reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that the seven medals won by the Belarusian gymnasts in individual and group events are undoubtedly a success and the result of hard, painstaking work.

“I congratulate everyone who contributed to this real triumph, who did everything possible, and sometimes even impossible to enable the Belarusian gymnasts to grace the world podium. Thank you for the brilliant performance! Belarus is proud of you!” the head of state emphasized.
