Lukashenko: Belarus seeks closer ties with Poland

MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Polish President Andrzej Duda on National Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
 
“I am convinced that more intensive trade and business ties, joint research and education projects, cooperation between organizations will help us make the most of our neighborhood and will contribute to strengthening constructive relations. Belarus is interested in scaling up cooperation with Poland in regional and international security and collaboration in promoting a pragmatic dialogue with the European Union,” the message reads. 

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Andrzej Duda good health and many successes in his important political post. He also wished Polish nationals peace and prosperity.
