MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Slovak Republic Igor Leshchenya presented his credentials to Slovakia President Andrej Kiska on 6 September 2016, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

The parties discussed the promising areas of the development of the Belarusian-Slovak cooperation, noted the positive dynamics and constructive nature of the bilateral relations, and expressed willingness to continue developing mutually beneficial cooperation.

The parties noted that there was a considerable potential to implement joint economic projects, to intensify interaction in culture, education, sports, and tourism, and to expand interregional ties.
