Lao parliamentary delegation arrives in Minsk on 21 April
MINSK, 21 April (BelTA) – A Lao parliamentary delegation led by Chairwoman of the Lao National Assembly Pani Yathotou arrives in Minsk with an official visit on 21 April. The visit will last until 25 April, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Council of the Republic.The delegation arrives at the invitation of the National Assembly of Belarus. It is planned that the Council of the Republic will host a meeting between chairman of the upper chamber Anatoly Rubinov and the head of the Lao delegation. The parties are expected to sign a cooperation agreement between the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the National Assembly of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the document on the exchange of instruments of ratification on the domestic procedures required for the treaty on friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
In addition, the Lao delegation is set to meet with Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich, to visit the Atlant company and travel to Grodno Oblast.
