MINSK, 28 August (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Yelena Kupchina will be on a visit to Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, on 28-29 August, to take part in solemn events timed to the 70^th anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising, Spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Mironchik told reporters on 28 August, BelTA has learned.

“Taking part in the events will be the President, Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Council of Slovakia, high-ranking officials, MPs, representatives of political parties and NGOs of Slovakia, heads of state of the countries making part of the Anti-Hitler Coalition, senior officials of a number of EU member states and neighboring countries,” Dmitry Mironchik said. During the visit to Slovakia Yelena Kupchina will meet with senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and representatives of other foreign delegations.
