French Foreign Minister praises organization of Normandy Four meetings in Minsk
MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Jean-Marc Ayrault expressed his gratitude to Belarus for a high-level organization of the Normandy Four ministerial meeting in Minsk on 29 November. The matter was discussed during the French Foreign Minister’s meeting with Belarus’ Ambassador to France Pavel Latushko, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in France.
Jean-Marc Ayrault also hailed the success of the First Belarusian-French Interregional Busienss Forum in Minsk, emphasizing the priority importance for the two countries to develop trade and economic cooperation.
The meeting took place as part of the annual Christmas meeting at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development. The event is organized by the association Welcome to France, which supports the activity of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in France. The event gathers heads of diplomatic representations, French government bodies, outstanding political and public figures of the country.
