MINSK, 8 September (BelTA) – Jean Asselborn, Foreign and European Affairs Minister of Luxembourg, will pay a working visit to Minsk on 13 to 14 September, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a briefing on 8 September, BelTA has learned.

“The program of the visit includes a meeting with Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei. The parties will discuss the whole rage of issues of bilateral relations, and also matters related to the Minsk-Brussels cooperation,” Dmitry Mironchik said.

He noted that the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries have bolstered their ties considerably in recent times. “This will be the first visit of the head of the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs to Belarus, and the third bilateral meeting between the ministers since the beginning of 2015,” Dmitry Mironchik added.
