FM: New points always arise in Belarus-EU talks on readmission, visa facilitation

MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – There always arise some new points in the negotiations of Belarus with the European Union on visa facilitation and readmission, Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told the media, BelTA has learned.

“I already said once that there constantly arise some new points related to the initiatives of our European partners. These initiatives come from not all EU members but some individual countries. They constantly offer some things to introduce some changes and even to toughen the initial versions of these agreements, which is not quite acceptable to us. So we continue the discussion on this topic. I think that the acceptable solution will be eventually found,” the minister said.

According to him, the same applies to the draft Belarus-EU Partnership Priorities agreement.
