Emomali Rahmon arrives in Belarus for Minsk summits

Emomali Rahmon arrives in Belarus MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) - Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon has arrived in Belarus to take part in the Minsk summits, BelTA has learnt.

Emomali Rahmon is expected to attend the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council at the level of heads of state in the capacity of a guest on 24 October. The next day he is set to take part in the session of the CIS Heads of State Council.

Belarus and Tajikistan enjoy constructive cooperation in the international arena. In 2012 Belarus-Tajikistan trade totaled $57.7 million. Belarus posted a trade surplus of $39 million.
