Vladimir Makei noted that it is symbolic that the visit is timed to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Serbia.

Vladimir Makei spoke highly of the willingness of the Serbian side to implement all the agreements between Belarus and Serbia at the highest level. He noted that the current visit of the Serbian delegation will be very important for the further development of Belarusian-Serbian relations.

Ivica Dacic, for his part, stressed that Belarus is a friendly country for Serbia. He expressed satisfaction with the growing dynamics and the quality of the bilateral relations, an active exchange of visits at all levels. Ivica Dacic took note of the mutual interest in the development of the political and economic dialogue and expressed his gratitude to Belarusian people for helping the floods victims in Serbia.

The Serbian guest expressed confidence in further active development of the Belarusian-Serbian relations and said that Serbia has planed many events and measures to promote cooperation with Belarus in all areas.
