MOSCOW, 26 March (BelTA) – The Russian government has okayed a draft intergovernmental agreement on sharing geospatial data between the Belarusian and Russian armed forces, BelTA has learned.
The agreement regulates how geospatial data should be shared in the course of operation of the Belarusian-Russian regional military group. The sides are expected to create geospatial information databanks and train specialists how to work with it. Neither side will be authorized to share the other side’s data with a third party.
The Russian Defense Ministry has been instructed to sign the agreement with Belarus.
