Diplomats discuss Zelenskyy’s visit to Belarus

MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – Preparations for the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Belarus have been discussed in Kyiv, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“On July 31, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine Igor Sokol met with Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar. “During the meeting, the parties discussed preparations for the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Belarus, as well as preparations for the 3rd edition of the Forum of Regions of the two countries that is due to take place in Grodno on 8-9 October this year,” the press service informed.

In addition, the diplomats considered a possibility of holding Belarusian-Ukrainian ministerial consultations that might take place in Minsk in September.
