MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Netherlands Bert Koenders have exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Belarus-Netherlands diplomatic relations, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The Belarusian message reads that over the period of 25 years a solid foundation for fruitful cooperation between Belarus and Netherlands was established. Trade and economic cooperation develops dynamically. Steps necessary to invigorate the political dialogue are taken. Twinning ties are maintained. Belarusians highly appreciate efforts of Netherlandish charity organizations with regard to children rehabilitation and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Chernobyl-affected areas in Belarus.

Vladimir Makei expressed confidence that tapping the full potential of Belarusian-Netherlandish relations fully meets mutual interests and would contribute to stronger stability and security in Europe.
