MINSK, 23 August (BelTA) – Belarusian Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov met with top officials of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation during the defense technology forum Army 2017, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry website.
The third international defense technology forum Army 2017 is scheduled to take place in Kubinka, Moscow Oblast on 22-27 August. Representatives of the Belarusian army are taking part in the forum, with defense technology products on display.
A delegation of the Belarusian army led by Defense Minister, Lieutenant-General Andrei Ravkov attended the forum on 21-23 August. The minister was made familiar with cutting-edge technologies and the latest in military hardware and materiel. Andrei Ravkov met with top officials of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, representatives of Russian defense companies, and defense ministers of several countries.
