Belarusian PM to travel to China on official visit 19-24 January

MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – Belarus’ Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich will travel to China on an official visit on 19-24 January, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian government.

Mikhail Myasnikovich will hold official talks with Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Li Keqiang. The parties are expected to sign a number of bilateral documents. The Belarusian Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet with President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China, Secretary of the Party Committee of Heilongjiang Province Wang Xiankui, and representatives of the business communities of Heilongjiang Province and Harbin.

The Belarusian head of government is set to meet with senior executives of a number of Chinese corporations, including Sinomach, BUCC, CUEC, Chinese Investment Corporation, CITIC Construction, Geely, ZTE and Huawei corporations and visit the joint ventures in Harbin.

Presentation of Belarus’ investment opportunities and the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park will be arranged during the visit.

In the course of the visit the parties are set to sign a number of international instruments.
