MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) - Belarusian MPs express hope that the events in the brotherly Ukraine will develop in a constructive manner, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said as he opened the spring session on 2 April, BelTA has learnt.
According to Vladimir Andreichenko, Belarusians are concerned about the situation in the world. “We can not stay indifferent to the events in Ukraine. Over centuries the Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian peoples have shared history and culture, mutual understanding and striving for good neighbor relations, peace and concord,” the Speaker said.
“We are confident that these values will continue determining the development of the relations between our nations. Belarusian MPs express hope that the events in the brotherly Ukraine will develop constructively given strict observance of the principles of the supremacy of law, respect of the rights and interests of all citizens of the country,” Vladimir Andreichenko stressed.
