MINSK, 17 July (BelTA) – Belarus will continue strengthening strategic partnership with Russia, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said
at a meeting with heads of Belarusian diplomatic missions and consular institutions on 17 July, BelTA has learnt.Cooperation with the Russian Federation remains Belarus’ strategic priority, the Belarusian President said.
“Do I need to convince you? We do not have an alternative. Why do we have to give up on normal relations with our fraternal state which is always ready to lend a shoulder like nobody else?” Alexander Lukashenko wondered.
He believes that the potential of the Union State is not depleted. “Therefore, we will enhance our strategic partnership with Russia,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
